New Work in Progress

Checking in to show a new work in progress. It is OK. I still have work to go.

My first time off since the 2 Agility trials. They were so much fun but a lot of work involved. Still would like to post some pics of people and their dogs.

The painting for Heidi is done and now delivered! I believe she and her girls really liked it. This was a labor of love for me! I may even have a photographer's helper in one of Heidi's daughters. I am enjoying doing these new portraits (of people).

The NADAC trial at Trained Dog Happy Dog has finished. Lots of pictures were taken. The weather was absolutely perfect. All of my pictures are now edited and on my photoreflect website. I would like to include a few fun pics, but that will have to be another time. Soon!

Dog Daze!
I have finished Day 1 of photographing a Dog Agility trial--at Trained Dog, Happy Dog. It was so much fun! I havent been able to do this for almost a year. I had forgotten how fun it was and how nice the people are. Really a great group of people!! There will be some fun photos to follow! Day 2 is tomorrow.


Also, the portrait of Hiedi's parents is complete! Hope she loves it!!!! A picture of the portrait will follow as soon as she gets a chance to see it first.


I had the opportunity to create a small and portable portfolio. I didn't realize how productive I have been. It is fun to see the quality change and hopefully improve over the years.

All is looking good with the construction of this blog.

I would like to share one of my new pieces. Painting people is a new adventure for me. I just loved painting my friend Andrea's 2 children--Savanah and Jeremy. I want to do more and more.

I would like to invite you to visit the FTBOA building on Airport Rd. I am part of a stunning exhibit being held there till the end of the year. I am so thrilled to be in such incredible company! From Booth Malone to Bob Judy two of my very favorites! The artwork is topnotch. Ocala has so much talent! Please visit the exhibit if you can, you wont be disapointed!!

I am finishing up another portrait of people. This is a painting of Heidi Ramos parents on their wedding day and then their 25th Wedding anniversary. Two separate vignettes connected. This has been a challenge but so compelling. It allowed me to reconnect with one of my favorite people and someone I consider my mentor-- Lynn Hershberger, another very talented artist here in Ocala. Thanks, Lynn, for the critique. I will post this painting soon.

This is my inaugural Blog. Something I have resisted for a long time.. I am ready to acquaint my self with this new method of interacting with friends, family and people new to my art.
